Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko talked with mayors of almost 30 cities that are members of The Association of European Cities Eurocities. Those cities help Ukrainian refugees, donate and deliver humanitarian aid, medications and essentials.
“I took part in a virtual conference that brought together the mayors of almost 30 cities that are members of The Association of European Cities Eurocities. I talked with Dario Nardella who chairs the Association and my colleagues from Oslo, Milan, Paris, Leipzig, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Barcelona, Brussels, Toulouse, Tallinn, Vienna, Warsaw and other cities. Their authorities help Ukrainian refugees, donate and deliver humanitarian aid, medications and essentials,” revealed Klitschko in his Telegram post.
He pointed out, that all mayors stay committed to further supporting Ukraine’s fight for its independence and freedom. They also admire the courage and bravery the Ukrainians show in their struggle.
“My European colleagues emphasised their further support of Kyiv and Ukraine and readiness to help rebuild the infrastructure that is being destroyed and gets blown to pieces by the Russian army. I am sure we will win and restore our cities and our country! Glory to Ukraine!” said Klitschko.
