The Natalka Park
Natalka Park has narrowly escaped encroaching development. Thanks to a joint effort of the Kyiv authorities and urban activists Natalka is now one of the finest parks in the city and sets the gold standard for all city parks. In 2017 the first phase of the park’s massive upgrade was finished, followed by the second phase in 2018 and the third in 2019. The park is as beautiful as many famous European green spaces. There are newly paved walking paths, bike trails, lawns, exercise and comfortable seating areas as well as CCTV surveillance. The park features playgrounds with interactive play equipment, an all-inclusive sports ground, some multi-purpose pitches, and a dog park.
