The Volodymyrska Hirka Park
This popular city park last underwent renovation almost 40 years ago. At the end of 2020 the city cut the ribbon on the second portion of renovations that include new lighting, fencing, newly paved paths, a big playground for kids, new benches and refurbished gazebos. There is also a new fountain – a copy of the original 19th-century iron fountain.
In September 2020 a new fountain featuring the St. Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of Kyiv was unveiled at the upper park terrace.
