As a result of the enemy attack on Kyiv on February 3, residential buildings were damaged in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts. Two people were injured and received medical assistance at the scene. Two districts of the capital are largely without heating. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on his Telegram channel.
In the Darnytskyi district, a non-residential area was hit. At another address, falling debris caused a fire on the roof of a 26-storey residential building, damaging partitions and glazing in an unoccupied apartment on the top floor. The fire was extinguished.
At another location, warehouse facilities caught fire; the blaze has also been put out.
In the Dniprovskyi district, UAV debris fell on several residential buildings. In a five-storey building, part of the external wall and windows were damaged. At another address, the façade and glazing were damaged. In addition, UAV debris fell onto the grounds of a kindergarten and an open area.
In the Desnianskyi district, enemy UAV debris fell in an open area.
In the Pecherskyi district, UAV debris fell on the territory of a gas station, damaging the station building, four vehicles, and power lines.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV struck a 22-storey residential building at the level of the 16th–17th floors. Rescuers extinguished a fire covering a total area of 90 square meters.
As a result of the enemy’s nighttime mass attack on the capital’s infrastructure, the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts are largely without heating.
Overall, 1,170 multi-storey buildings across the city are currently without heat supply.
Municipal services and energy workers have begun restoration work. Repairs are also ongoing in buildings that had previously been without heating.
