Vitali Klitschko delivers a speech at the EPP faction meeting in the EU Parliament and calls on the European MPs to support Ukraine’s membership in the EU

The mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko virtually attended the EPP faction meeting in the EU Parliament. He told the MPs about the ongoing situation in Kyiv and in the country. He pointed out, that the Russian troops shell the cities and villages and kill the civilians. He called on the democratic nations to stop the barbarities and crimes against humanity that are taking place in the heart of Europe.
Klitschko thanked the faction members for supporting the Ukrainians and expressed hope that they will back Ukraine’s application to join the European Union. He also emphasised the crucial need for humanitarian aid for Ukraine and Kyiv which can help prevent the humanitarian catastrophe in the country.
Also, Vitali Klitschko held a phone call with Manfred Weber who chairs the EPP faction in the EU Parliament.
