The Shuliavsky overpass

In February 2017 the Shuliavsky overpass got ‘tired’. The collapse of its pedestrian railing led to the demolition of the overpass. The municipality had to build the bridge practically anew and following completion of the major portion of work the 158-metre-long and six-lane Shuliavsky overpass reopened to traffic before the New Year 2020.

Now work remaining on the project includes the demolition of the fifth section of the Bolshevik plant and installation of an exit ramp on its site. Currently, this project phase is on standby unless the municipality has permission to do so from the State Property Fund.
