The mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko revealed in his video that the defenders are being prepared to fight for Ukraine’s capital city because today’s night would be no easier than yesterday’s. “Today’s night will be no easier than yesterday’s. Our defenders are being prepared to fight for Kyiv. And I urge Kyivans to spend this night in shelters. Because the enemy just flew into a rage and began to hit our homes and the city infrastructure. Though Russia suffers heavy casualties and losses of military equipment. It seems, Russians face much more resistance from our combatants and civilians than they anticipated,” said Klitschko.
He pointed out that the combatants are fighting heroically and “The horde is trying to break into Kyiv. Our defenders are being prepared to fight the aggressor. Kyivans help the Territorial Defence Forces build fortifications to strengthen the city against the enemy. I want to say thank you to our Ukrainian combatants and residents of Vorzel, Bucha, Irpen and Gostomel where the active hostilities are conducted, for their resilience.”
