Kyiv City Day: Your Kyiv is your life story!

At the last weekend of May Kyiv traditionally celebrates City Day. This year marks the 1,539th anniversary of Kyiv. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko posted a video with his congratulations on Facebook and shared his favourite places to see in Kyiv.

The video starts with the sun rising above the monument to the Kyiv settlers, brothers Kyi, Shchek and Khoryv along with their sister Lybid and the Prince Volodymyr the Great statue. Then the Klitschko brothers, Vitali and Wladimir are lеіsurеlу cycling in Volodymyrska Hirka park. In a video one can also see how the city wakes up and the service workers spruce up its streets and parks, see Kyivans jogging or having a walk. “It is very nice to wake up in a city you love, to discover its different side, care about it, learn and work, fall in love and rest in it, and write your own life story! In Kyiv you create your story!” says Vitali Klitschko in a video.
