Following a massive nighttime attack that damaged critical infrastructure, nearly 2,600 additional residential buildings in the capital have been left without heating. These are high-rise buildings on both the left and right banks of the city. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on his Telegram channel.

“After last night’s massive attack, due to damage to critical infrastructure targeted by the enemy, nearly 2,600 more residential buildings in the capital were left without heat. These are high-rise buildings on both the left and right banks of the city, including in the Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi districts. Utility workers are already working to restore heat supply to these buildings,” Vitali Klitschko wrote.

He also recalled that more than 1,100 high-rise buildings in the Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts remain without heating following previous shelling. Due to critical damage to the Darnytsia CHP plant, it is currently impossible to supply heat to those areas.
